The Royal Geographical Society partnered with We are here Venice to produce a Venice module which has now been launched on the Royal Geographical Society’s new website.
The resource features videos, fact sheets, podcasts, interviews, activities and lesson plans and is a valuable teaching resource that covers different aspects of the city and its lagoon. Sections include Population and Tourism, Physical environment and flooding and Lagoon ecosystem and sustainable use.
The resource was produced as a result of an A Level Geography fieldtrip that took place in October 2016 with WahV and students from Eton College (UK) and Liceo Classico Marco Foscarini (Venice).
