Uol 01.10.22, residents of Venice fighting for a resilient city

The Brazilian media Uol (Universo Online) interviewed Jane about her experience as a citizen of Venice. Throughout the interviews of several other residents, the article titled “What time does Venice close? Residents unite to protect the Italian city, which is losing its soul to mass tourism” explores the issue of the Venetian exodus, providing past and current numbers of left residents in the historic city and in the islands, as well as the houses speculation for tourism reception which create a shortage for residents’ housing.
